3 cups all-purpose flour

1 and ¼ cups warm water

1 tablespoon sugar

1 teaspoon salt

1 tablespoon active dry yeast

2 tablespoons olive oil (optional)


✨ Preparation Steps (English Version)

  1. Activate the yeast

In a bowl, mix warm water with sugar and yeast. Let it rest for 10 minutes until it becomes foamy.

  1. Prepare the dough

Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix until a soft dough forms.
Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth.

  1. First rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a cloth, and let it rise for 1 to 2 hours until it doubles in size (like in the first picture).

  1. Shape the dough

Transfer the dough to a floured surface and gently shape it into a loaf.

  1. Second rise

Put the dough in a baking dish or on a tray. Cover it and let it rise for another 30–40 minutes.

  1. Bake

Preheat your oven to 220°C (430°F).
Bake the bread for 25–30 minutes until the top becomes golden and crusty (like in the second picture).

  1. Cool

Place the bread on a cooling rack for 10 minutes before slicing.
