Cherry Cheesecake Dessert
Ingredients:
2 packs of cream cheese (about 450 g / 16 oz), softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 large container of whipped topping (like Cool Whip)
1 can cherry pie filling (or fresh cherries with syrup)
1 pack graham crackers (or digestive biscuits), crushed
1/2 cup melted butter
Instructions:
- Prepare the crust:
Crush the graham crackers (or digestive biscuits) into fine crumbs.
Mix with melted butter until combined.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of a baking dish or tray. Refrigerate for 15 minutes to set.
- Make the cheesecake filling:
In a large bowl, beat the softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold in the whipped topping until fully combined.
- Assemble the layers:
Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the crust.
Add spoonfuls of cherry pie filling on top.
Using a knife or spatula, gently swirl the cherry topping into the cream layer to create a marble effect.
- Chill:
Refrigerate for at least 3–4 hours (or overnight) to set.
- Serve cold:
Slice into squares and enjoy this creamy cherry
