Grilled Cheese Sandwich


Ingredients

2 slices of bread

2–3 slices of cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your favorite melting cheese)

1–2 tablespoons of butter


Instructions

  1. Butter the bread:
    Spread butter on one side of each bread slice.
  2. Assemble the sandwich:
    Place the cheese between the unbuttered sides of the bread, leaving the buttered sides facing out.
  3. Heat a pan:
    Warm a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Cook the sandwich:
    Place the sandwich on the pan and cook until the bottom is golden and crispy, then flip and cook the other side.
  5. Melt the cheese:
    Continue cooking until the cheese inside is fully melted and starts to ooze out.
  6. Serve hot:
    Remove the sandwich, slice if desired, and enjoy!
