Cheesy Potato Soup with Ground Bee


Ingredients :

2 cups diced potatoes

250 g ground beef

1 small onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef or chicken broth

1 cup milk or cream

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp butter

2 tbsp flour

Salt and black pepper to taste

Chopped parsley for garnish


Preparation :

  1. Cook the beef:
    In a pot, cook the ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  2. Add onions and garlic:
    Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Cook for 2–3 minutes until softened.
  3. Add potatoes and broth:
    Add the diced potatoes and pour in the broth. Let it cook until the potatoes become tender (about 10–15 minutes).
  4. Make the creamy base:
    In a small pan, melt the butter, add the flour, and stir for 1 minute. Slowly add the milk or cream while whisking until smooth.
  5. Combine:
    Add the creamy mixture to the main pot and stir well.
  6. Add cheese:
    Add the shredded cheddar cheese and mix until melted.
  7. Season:
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
  8. Serve:
    Serve hot and garnish with chopped parsley and extra cheese if you like.
