(Cheesy Beef and Corn Skillet)


Ingredients

500 g (1 lb) ground beef

1 medium onion, chopped

1 red bell pepper, diced

1 orange or yellow bell pepper, diced

2 cups canned corn (or frozen corn)

1 cup shredded chicken (optional)

1–2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp paprika

1 tsp cumin

1 tsp chili powder (optional, for a spicy kick)

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a mix)

½ cup cream or milk (to make it creamy)

2 tbsp olive oil


Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain excess fat if needed.
  3. Add the chopped onion, garlic, and diced bell peppers. Cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
  4. Stir in the corn and shredded chicken (if using). Season with paprika, cumin, chili powder, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Reduce the heat to low. Pour in the cream (or milk) and stir well.
  6. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top, cover the skillet, and let the cheese melt (about 2–3 minutes).
