1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
1 cup peanut butter (creamy or crunchy)
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 cup granulated sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 cups chopped Snickers bars
1 cup semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips (for drizzling, optional)
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture and mix until combined.
- Gently fold in the chopped Snickers pieces.
- Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough balls (about 1–2 tablespoons each) onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between cookies.
- Bake for 10–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden (centers may look slightly soft).
- Let cookies cool on the sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
- If desired, melt chocolate chips and drizzle over cooled cookies for decoration.
